DHARAMSHALA/SHIMLA: Five trekkers have reportedly gone missing in the high-altitude Barabangal region of Kangra district following snowfall and worsening weather in the Dhauladhar ranges.
The group had ventured into the high-altitude area from Bara Bhangal bhangal, but contact was lost amid poor weather and the absence of mobile connectivity in the remote terrain.
Police and disaster-management team are searching for the trekkers. Their exact whereabouts and safety remain unconfirmed as efforts to establish communication continue.
