Himachal Writes History – Declared a Fully Literate State!
SHIMLA: In a landmark achievement, Himachal Pradesh has officially become a Fully Literate State — a feat that puts the hill state on top of India’s education map.
Chief Minister announced the historic milestone today, calling it a proud moment in Himachal’s journey of progress.
“This is the result of the tireless efforts of our teachers, students, employees, and every citizen who contributed to make this dream come true,” he said.
With this, Himachal has etched its name in history — turning the vision of 100% literacy into a reality, Education Minister Rohit Thakur said.
