SHIMLA: Opposition Congress staged walkout after the heated debate that unleased on Governor address in the Budget session of the Himachal Vidhan Sabha that started here today.
All the Congress legislators led by the leader of the opposition in the Vidhan Sabha, Mukesh Agnihotri staged walkout in a jiffy after the heated exchanges with the treasury benches in the House.
The Congress MLAs came out of the House and shouted slogans against the Jai Ram Thakur government. “Jai Ram Thakur Kaam Karo, Kursi Chod Aaram Karo”; “Jai Ram Tujhe Janata Ne Nakara Hai”.
on the other hand, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur told media that the Congress has no issue to raise and it was resorting to walkouts to gain political mileage. The governor address carried facts and the Congress has failed to act as a responsible opposition, he claimed.
