National Seminar Participants atHPU Shimla

SHIMLA: The public administration experts have batted for the digital governance with humane face to bring  about positive reforms that would  benefit the socitey at large.

 This viewpoint transpired at the daylong national seminar organised by Department of Public Administration, HP University in collaboration with Society of Public Administration H.P.

The theme of the  seminar was "Transforming Systems through Reforms in Governance."

With a focus on driving positive change in administrative frameworks. Prof Mamta Mokta Director of Seminar and presently Dean Students Welfare H.P.University and Chairperson Department of Public Administration introduced Theme of Seminar and welcome all Guests and participants.

Dr Mokta advocated for use of Digital governance with ethical and humanistic values for promoting Positive reforms in Society.

Awards of excellence were given in inaugural session of National Seminar By Pro Vice Chancellor Prof .Rajinder Verma as Chief Guest ,Dean of studies Prof B.K.Shivram as Guest of Honour and Dean Planning and Teachers matters Prof.J.S.Dhiman as Special guest in inaugural session to Dr.Arushi Jain (Policy Director ISB),Prof Mohinder Singh Attached Faculty Gobind garh University Punjab,Prof Durgesh Nandini Prof Public Administration IGNOU,Prof Inderjeet Singh Sodhi of Jamia milia university for giving exemplary contribution for the promotion of Discipline of Public Administration.

Awards for excellence were also presented to Dr Nittam Chandel of GDC,Ghumarwein,Dr Gopal dutt Sanghraik OSD Directorate of Higher education HP,Dr Ishwar Dutt Sharma of R.K.M.V.College,Dr Laxmi Verma of Kothshera ,and Dr Naresh Verma of excellence college Sanjauli for contributing for Discipline of Public Administration.

The seminar brought together scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to explore innovative strategies for enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability in governance.

Through insightful discussions and interactive sessions, participants exchanged ideas, learned from best practices, and new collaborations.

This seminar served as a catalyst for fostering governance reforms for changing the system to meet people's expectations .

More than 130 participants participated in Seminar. In Valedictory Session 

Controller of Examinations Prof Shyam Lal kaushal was chief guest ,Dean College Development Council Prof S S Narta was Guest of Honour,Dean Faculty of Science Special Guest and distributed certificates to Resource person and Participants.

Dr Mamta Mokta appreciated efforts of Ramesh , Rajneesh,Jitender,Khusi and Madan, for Society registration.

Dr Munish Dulta and Dr Kusum Azad,Dr Deepak Sharma faculty of Department thanked all participants for attending the Seminar.
