Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has declared that the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 will center around the ambitious goal of 'Vyavastha Parivartan' (Systematic Change).
The state government is determined to enhance Himachal Pradesh's financial standing, striving for self-reliance and overall prosperity.
During a 'Chaupal' program organized by a media house in New Delhi, Chief Minister Sukhu emphasized the government's commitment to the comprehensive development of the state and its residents.
He highlighted the implementation of the poll guarantee to provide One Rank One Pension (OPS) to government employees, ensuring their welfare.
Sukhu outlined the government's vision to position Himachal Pradesh as a year-round tourist destination, capitalizing on its diverse natural beauty, including snow-capped peaks, green meadows, water bodies, and extensive forest cover. To support this initiative, the government is actively developing tourist infrastructure, including the construction of heliports across the state and the expansion of Kangra airport.
The Chief Minister also shed light on the 'Chandratal' operation, underscoring the government's commitment to providing a safe and memorable experience for tourists.
He further highlighted the state's resilience in the face of unprecedented natural disasters during the monsoon season, emphasizing the government's adherence to the principles of good governance in restoring normalcy.
