Baddi: HP Police  Special Investigation Team (SIT) has intensified scrutiny on the factory's management practices and launch manhunt to nab three accused who are on the run. The incident has left five workers dead, five missing and two factory men  arrested so far after the FIR was lodged at Barotivala police station. 

The families of the missing workers, including Champo from Village Baroh and Kajal from Uttar Pradesh, are anxiously awaiting answers amid the ongoing investigation.

The SIT, under the directive of the Director General of Police (DGP) HP, is conducting a thorough investigation into NR Aromas' management practices.

The search operation within the factory's premises, conducted in collaboration with NDRF, HP SDRF, and FSL Junga, has uncovered significant evidence.

Aided by drone videography, the operation aims to leave no stone unturned in exposing the truth, said the DGP.

Two individuals connected to the incident, Chandra Shekhar and Vinod Bilwa, both residents of Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, have been arrested.

The local court has issued non-bailable warrants against three key figures from Ratlam- Nilesh Patel, son of Mohan Bhai, residing at House Number 21,  Siddharth Patel, S/O Rajesh Patel, Milan Patel, S/O Rajesh Patel, District Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.

Efforts are underway to apprehend these individuals as part of the ongoing investigation. intensifying the scrutiny on NR Aromas' management.

The Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Chandigarh, is set to join the investigation from February 6.

This development is crucial given the hazardous materials stored at NR Aromas, raising questions about the factory's management overseeing operations involving dangerous chemicals.

The tragedy underscores the pressing need for caution and chemical experts' involvement at industrial sites.

The factory management's lax adherence to safety standards comes under severe criticism, prompting broader discussions about the urgent need for stringent oversight and accountability in factory operations.
