SHIMLA - Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the 'Him Samachar' App of  the Himachal Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department.

 This user-friendly app is designed to provide citizens with convenient access to vital information about the State Government's policies and programs, as well as departmental bulletins, video content, short reels, and essential updates on government decisions.

The 'Him Samachar' App is readily available for download on the Google Play Store or through QR code scanning.

Chief Minister Sukhu said the state government is committed to improving the lives of its residents through numerous welfare schemes.

He acknowledged the crucial role of the Information and Public Relations Department in disseminating these policies and programs at the grassroots level.

Furthermore, he urged the department to embrace modern technology to ensure that the government's public welfare initiatives reach every citizen.

 Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi, MLA Kewal Singh Pathania, Principal Advisor (Media) to the Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan, Director of Digital Technology and Governance Mukesh Repaswal, and Director of Information and Public Relations Rajiv Kumar were also present.
