SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu experienced sudden abdominal pain and was admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) in Shimla on Saturday morning.
Doctors conducted an ultrasound and blood tests, and while the ultrasound report came back normal, they are awaiting the blood test results.
CM Sukhu has been advised to rest, which led to the cancellation of his planned trip to Jammu for election campaigning.
This isn't the first health scare for the chief minister; he was previously admitted to AIIMS Delhi in October due to abdominal and lung complications. During that time, his condition improved gradually, but he was advised to scale back his workload and take time for recovery.
After a checkup he was discarded..
For now, Sukhu's team has assured that while his condition is stable, he will continue to rest and recuperate as per the doctors' advice.
