"Shimla: In a 'Monday Meeting' convened today, bringing together top administrative officials to review the progress of various developmental plans and programs being implemented across the state.
Chairing this meeting, Chief Minister Sukhuvinder Singh Sukhu said that on October 30, 2023, mutation (land transfer) courts would be established throughout the state, aiming to streamline the mutation process.
Under this decision, mutation verification will be handled at the tehsil, sub-tehsil, and revenue circle levels exclusively for pending mutation cases. This move is expected to bring relief to the general public by reducing the need for frequent visits to government offices for mutation-related matters, as they can now expect a more accessible and convenient approach to address these issues.
The establishment of these mutation courts reflects the government's commitment to improving administrative efficiency and making essential services more citizen-friendly.
He said it will ease the burden on common man dealing with land-related transactions and is set to benefit a wide range of stakeholders across Himachal Pradesh."
