Shimla: Military School Chail is marking its centenary with a historic Ultra Run event from November 7 to 10.
The event celebrates 100 years of the school’s dedication to fostering discipline, resilience, and leadership.
Principal Lal Singh highlighted that alumni and prominent figures from the school’s history, including tributes to notable alumni like Captain Gurbachan Singh Salaria, India’s only Param Vir Chakra recipient from the 1961 Congo conflict, will be a part of the celebration.
This anniversary underscores the legacy of Rashtriya Military School Chail as an institution committed to producing leaders with a profound sense of duty and honor.
Founded in 1922, RMS Chail has a storied reputation for training cadets who go on to serve in the Indian Armed Forces and other areas, where teamwork and resilience are integral values instilled from their school days.
The Ultra Run aligns with this tradition, celebrating not only the school’s rich past but also its commitment to inspiring physical and mental endurance among its cadets, symbolizing the school’s "never-give-up" spirit.
