Keylong: Yesterday, a worried tweet about eight people traveling from Manali to Kaza who were out of contact, including a father and his son man, caught attention ofvthe Lahaul-Spiti police online.
Probably they were on way to Chandertal lake. But lost their way and were confused about their location.
Mayank Chaudhary, the SP of Lahaul-Spiti, confirmed that the group was found and rescued in the rugged stretch between Koksar, Chotta Dhara, and Batal.
This area, known for its stunning but isolated terrain, often leaves travelers without any phone signal, making it difficult to reach out for help.
Traveling through Lahaul-Spiti comes with its challenges, especially in areas with no connectivity.
Thankfully, the group was located and brought to safety, reminding everyone of the unpredictable nature of journeys in these remote, beautiful regions.
