Bilaspur: BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda, during his visit to his hometown here today inspected the AIIMS Bilaspur, which is a significant project close to his heart.
He meticulously reviewed the infrastructure and facilities in every block of the medical institute and engaged with patients and their caretakers, as well as MBBS and nursing students.
Nadda emphasized the need for immediate and effective action at the central level to enhance the AIIMS's quality.
He ensured that no deficiencies would be tolerated, and any pending tasks would be expedited to maintain the highest standards.
He stressed that patients' trust in the healthcare institution must not be compromised at any level.
During his visit, Nadda interacted with students pursuing MBBS and nursing courses.
The students raised their concerns, which he promptly noted and discussed with AIIMS management.
Nadda emphasized the importance of providing students with proper training and a conducive learning environment. He underscored the necessity of well-equipped facilities to support the medical staff in delivering optimal patient care.
The construction of AIIMS Bilaspur is aimed at providing better healthcare facilities to people in the region, reducing the need for them to travel to distant hospitals in Shimla, Chandigarh, or Delhi.
Nadda's visit was attended by local political leaders, including Ranveer Sharma, Jeet Ram Katwal, and Trilok Jamwal, as well as AIIMS Director Veer Singh Negi, the Medical Superintendent, the Dean, and other officials.
