Baljeet_ Kaur unfurls Tiranga at Annapurna Peak at 8091 m in Neopal

SHIMLA/ANNAPURNA: After Defying death, Indian ace climber Baljeet Kaur, 27, is safe and fighting fit. Good news is also that Himachal Climber Amit Negi also climbed the Mt Annapurna peak, one of the most treacherous peaks in the world.

Baljeet Kaur is under treatment at Kathamandu hospital after she along with other four climbers were airlifted from Camp IV and III of Mt Annapurna (8091 m) to Kathmandu  after a 12 hours long grueling rescue operation launched by the organizers of Expedition.

Baljeet Kaur is recuperating  at Kathmandu: she gave  a Thumbsup to her unique survival instincts in the  crevasse of Annapurna Mt.  She defied death for more than 12 hours.

Soon Baljeet is expected to be in India and at her native state and home at Siari village at Solan.

Another magical survival is that Anurag Maloo is also found alive in the crevasse in  a critical condition  and was Rescued after2 days on Thursday.

Baljeet  along  with  Malu and  Noel Hanna had fallen  into the crevasse near Campu  IV  Camp III while coming back from the Annapurna peak last night.

ON the other,  Amit Negi hails from Manali and has already climbed the Mt Everest. He climbed the Annapurna peak along with two Polish Climbers.

The fans of Baljeet Kaur have condemned certain "irresponsible media platforms and portals and newspapers" ,  which had declared her dead without verifying the report from ground zero  just to  sensationalise the news to grab cheap publicity.

Unfortunately it was Noel Hanna who was reported to have been killed in the tragedy.

Hanna is a 10 -time Everester from northern Ireland.

Reports from Nepal says that Baljeet Kaur was found alive at 7300 M near Camp III.

Rescue Operation was launched today to trace them out.

Five of the climbers including Baljeet were airlifted to Kathmandu  hospital.

The record holding mountaineer Baljeet Kaur, is a proud  daughter of Dev Bhoomi Himachal.

She has climbed the peak without supplement Oxygen. But she went missing from below camp 1V.

She hails from Siari village of Solan and is fired with a  vision to conquer as many peaks as possible.

Maloo went missing from 6000 m after he fell into a Crevasse.

Baljeet holds many records to her kitty at a very young age. She  is the first Indian mountain to conquer 4 peaks of 8000 metres in less than a month.

Meanwhile Polish climbers Oswald R Periera and Bart Zlemski reached Annapurna Peak I at 8091 m on April 17 without help of Sherpas.

They did not use supplemental oxygen, informed Nepal news reports.
