Shimla: SJVN, under the leadership of Chairman Nand Lal Sharma, was honored with two prestigious SCOPE Awards for the year 2016-17.
The 'SCOPE Excellence Award in Institutional Category II' acknowledges SJVN's commitment to the power sector's growth, with an impressive project portfolio of 59772 MW.
The second award, the 'SCOPE Meritorious Award for Corporate Social Responsibility & Responsiveness,' recognizes SJVN's exceptional efforts in CSR, having invested over Rs. 412 Crores in education, health, infrastructure, cultural preservation, and more.
The awards were presented by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in a delayed ceremony due to the global pandemic. SJVN aims to achieve 12000 MW by 2026 and envisions 50000 MW installed capacity by 2040.
