Artiste at HPU Fest 24 in Shimla

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh University came alive with pulsating energy as it capped off its inaugural cultural extravaganza, 'Dhriti Sangam here today. The fest rocked students to vote.

Jointly organized by the Student Central Association (SCA) and the Student Welfare Office as a part of ECI's SVEEP activity to motivatestudentsto vote, the event drew in a crowd of over 450 enthusiastic students.

From the rhythmic beats of Pahari nati to the lively moves of Bollywood dance, the auditorium was a whirlwind of talent and excitement.

With the auditorium rocking to the beats of Pahari nati and Bollywood dance, the atmosphere was electric.

Special guests, including the Controller of Examination and the Former Dean of Student Welfare, praised the SCA for pulling off such a spectacular show.

Gracing the occasion were esteemed guests, including Controller of Examination Professor S.L Kaushal and Former Dean of Student Welfare Professor Nain Jeet Singh Negi, who lauded the SCA for its commendable efforts in putting together such a memorable event.

Special mention goes to Chief Warden R.L. Zinta, whose presence added to the grandeur of the fest.

Special Guest on the occasion was Prof Mamta Mokta, Dean and HoD Public Administration. 

But the real showstopper? None other than Election Icon Munish Sharma, whose  monologue on the importance of voting left a lasting impact on the audience, urging them to exercise their democratic right on June 1.

Led by President Muskan Thakur,  who is also  ECI's brand Ambassador, Vice President Akriti, Secretary Navya, and Joint Secretary Astha, along with dedicated departmental representatives, the SCA left no stone unturned in ensuring the fest's success.

Dhriti Sangam' wasn't just about entertainment; it was a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh University and its  incredible talent thriving within its student community.
