Dehradun: In a display of solidarity, SDC Foundation President Anoop Nautiyal has thrown his support behind Sonam Wangchuk's Climate Fast, which has now entered its 18th day today.
Nautiyal, echoing the concerns of many, emphasized the alarming need to address environmental degradation, especially in vulnerable Himalayan region.
Nautiyal stated, "The recent spate of environmental disasters serves as a stark reminder of the urgent action needed to protect our precious Himalayan ecosystem. We cannot afford to ignore the signs any longer."
Joined by various societies and organizations across states, including the Save Lahaul-Spiti society and other proactive groups, Nautiyal's endorsement amplifies the collective voice demanding immediate action on climate change.
