Himachal High Court Receives Another Hoax Bomb Threat
SHIMLA: The Himachal Pradesh High Court was evacuated following a bomb threat received via email on Tuesday —the second in just two weeks.
Security teams including bomb squads and sniffer dogs conducted a thorough four-hour sweep of the premises, confirming the threat was false.
Authorities suspect the culprits used a VPN, and court security has since been intensified .

Shimla – Following a Rs 5 lakh penalty imposed by the High Court for delayed action, the state government has finally appointed retired Chief Secretary RD Dhiman as Chairperson of the Himachal Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
Retired IAS Amit Kashyap joins as a member; both will serve a five-year term or until the age of 65.
The court had criticized government delays and questioned the motives behind shifting RERA’s headquarters .
