It started with the virtual presence of R.S. Bali, Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Limited (HPTDCL).
Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Kishori Lal, inaugurated the international event in the Kangra district. Himachal Pradesh is focusing on promoting adventure sports and has attracted 186 participants from different countries for this event, which will run until November 2.
The state has previously organized paragliding events and plans to host more in the future. The tourism sector in Himachal Pradesh has been thriving, with HPTDCL successfully aiding tourists during recent disasters. The event was attended by government officials and representatives from the tourism and paragliding associations.
