This annual event, now in its 3rd edition, promises an exhilarating experience for adventure enthusiasts amidst the breathtaking backdrop of the Himalayas.

Scheduled at an average altitude of 11,000 feet, the marathon offers four formats: 42 kms, 21 kms, 10 kms, and 5 kms for Men, Women, and Juniors categories. Additionally, participants can enjoy the 'Joy Race', a one-kilometer sprint, adding further excitement to the event.

In line with the state's efforts to promote winter adventure tourism, 'Snow Drive Trips' are also being organized by M/s La Himalaya and Mountain Goat Expeditions.

These trips, covering picturesque locations such as Narkanda, Baga Sarahan, Sangla, Tabo, and Kaza, offer a unique opportunity to explore the tribal areas of Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti.

Moreover, the Asian Rafting Championship, slated from March 4th to 9th, 2024, at Pandoa near Tattapani, adds another feather to Himachal Pradesh's adventure tourism cap.

Hosted in association with the Indian Rafting Federation, this championship marks a significant milestone, being the first of its kind in the country, said an official.

With these events, the state aims to showcase its rich natural beauty and adventure tourism potential, inviting enthusiasts from across the globe to experience the thrill of the Himalayas firsthand.
