He said the  estimated losses from the disaster are staggering, amounting to around Rs. 10,000 crore.

Chief Minister  announced immediate financial aid of one lakh rupees to families with partially damaged houses. He also met families from Gram Panchayat Gehra, pledging an additional one lakh rupees each to assist them during this trying time.

He said the government's commitment to prioritize citizens' needs, promising enhanced compensation for reconstruction and necessary amendments to aid farmers whose crops were affected.

Despite challenges, the Chief Minister stressed the government's dedication to providing compensation within the state's available resources.

He revealed that the Union Government's first installment of interim relief is still pending.

Out of the pending relief amount of Rs. 315 crore, Rs. 189 crore has been released, and an additional Rs. 360 crore was provided under the SDRF.
