Chandigarh: The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chandigarh, has provisionally attached immovable properties worth ₹33.65 crore under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.

The attached assets include a residential and an industrial plot in Panchkula, a flat in Gurugram, two shops in Mohali and Gurugram, and residential and commercial complexes in Dhanbad.

Additionally, two flats located in Kolkata and Ranchi have also been seized.

These properties belong to Gurpreet Singh Sabharwal, owner of M/s Tirupati Roadways, along with his wife Ravnita Sabharwal and daughter Tripta Sabharwal.

The ED's action is part of an ongoing probe into financial irregularities linked to the family.
