Hilltop Unit on fire in Baddi in Solan

Reports indicate that some more workers may be trapped inside, as confirmed by the local police.

As many as five workers who jumped out from the roof were injured and were admitted to the local hospital where they were under treatment. They were referred to PGI. 

Firefighters swiftly responded, but the intense flames and thick smog are posing challenges to contain the blaze within the company building.

DC solan Manmohan Sharma is monitoring the rescue operation. The situation is currently under control as efforts to extinguish the fire continue and to rescue the trapped workers.

The fate of the trapped workers remain unclear so far.

The cause of the fire remained unknown so far. There were over 85 workers inside the building when the fire broke out.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed profound grief over the tragic loss of lives.

CM Sukhu responded by directing the district administration to initiate a thorough inquiry into the mishap.

He emphasized the importance of providing all possible assistance to the families affected by this calamity, demonstrating a commitment to easing their plight.

Chief Minister Sukhu extended his wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident, acknowledging the physical and emotional toll the tragedy has taken on the community.
