Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena today opened an exhibition at the Indira Gandhi State Sports Complex showcasing the state's registered and potential Geographical Indication (GI) products. Running until June 16, this event is organized by the Patent Information Centre of the State Council for Science, Technology.

Visitors can explore and buy about 15 traditional items, including Kullu shawls, Kangra tea, Chamba rumals, and Kangra paintings.

The exhibition also features potential GI products like Chamba metal craft and Kinnauri jewelry. The GI tags highlight the products’ unique geographical origins and boost their economic value.
