Getting hold of implication of the issue Chief Minister followed the BJP government of Uttarakhand Assam and others abd swiftly declared a public holiday on January 22, 2024, in celebration of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya.

The continuous 'Akhand Path,' led by five Pandits, is set to conclude on Monday at 10 am. Addressing journalists, Chief Minister Sukhu underscored Lord Rama's universal significance, transcending political affiliations. He urged citizens to emulate Rama's virtues and values, emphasizing that the upcoming consecration ceremony in Ayodhya holds national cultural importance.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister announced his personal observance of the event, stating, "I will light a lamp in my house and encourage others to do the same."

He encouraged the adoption of Lord Rama's characteristics and the timeless lessons of the Ramayana in daily life. In response to queries, Sukhu expressed intentions to visit Ayodhya in the near future.

Highlighting the inseparable connection between Lord Rama and Shri Hanuman Ji, the Chief Minister revealed plans for erecting statues of both deities in Jakhu, as proposed by Sood Sabha.

The event witnessed the presence of others dignitaries and officials.
