Chief Election Commissioner of India Rajiv Kumar announced the General Assembly schedule for the state of Himachal Pradesh today in Delhi at a press conference.
According to the election Commission of India the counting of votes will be held on 8 December 2022 on Thursday.
But Modal code of conduct has come into force from today in Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh assembly elections were to be completed on 10th of December 2022.
Election Commission today stated the notification for the elections would be issued on October 17th 2022.
According to ESI the last date for making nomination is on 25th October 2022 while scrutiny will be done on October 27, two days after the date of nomination.
The last date for withdrawal of candidates is on 29th October.
