The lab, officially awarded on October 27, 2023, will promote 5G technology competencies among students, facilitate UG and PG projects, encourage academia-industry collaboration, and provide local access to 5G testing for startups and MSMEs.
The lab will explore 5G applications in e-Healthcare, Smart Cities, and Next-generation Communication. IIT Mandi broadcasted the event to an audience of 600 students, faculty, and key stakeholders.
