Nadda, accompanied by Union Minister Anurag Thakur,  Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, and State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, conducted an on-ground assessment of the devastation caused by heavy rains, floods, and landslides in the state. They visited the damaged areas in Sirmaur, Shimla, including the ancient Shiv Baudi temple site and Krishanagar in Shimla.

Highlighting the gravity of the situation, Nadda conveyed that over 1000 lives were rescued using 20 SDRF teams, two ITBP teams, and three helicopter units.

He emphasized the non-political nature of the crisis, stressing that all leadership  was dedicated to serving the public. Prime Minister Narender Modi is aware and has taken cognizance of the natural disaster in Himachal Pradesh and stands for mitigating the disaster in Himachal Pradesh, he added. 

Nadda assured the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh  of full support from the Central Government and BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He pledged comprehensive assistance for road repair, rehabilitation, and reconstruction efforts.

He said Dev Bhoomi had suffered substantial losses over the last month due to the ongoing natural calamity. Nadda underlined that there would be no financial shortfall for Himachal Pradesh, promising immediate help as required.

The Central Government is set to address the relief fund concerns outlined by the Chief Minister.

A detailed report on the state's disaster situation has been submitted to the Center, with recommendations from the Himachal Pradesh administration. Nadda confirmed that these suggestions would be implemented to alleviate the crisis effectively.
