These projects will significantly improve connectivity in the region. The total cost of the projects is Rs 21.05 crore.

The first project, the Chailchowk-Gohar-Pandoh road, will be upgraded at a cost of Rs 9.16 crore.

The second project, the Mandi-Kamand-Kataula road, connecting IIT Mandi, will be improved for Rs 11.89 crore. These upgrades will benefit both the academic community and regular commuters.

Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya Singh had met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari earlier to discuss these projects.

On his birthday today, Vikramaditya Singh shared the news with his fans and the media.

He said, “This is a step forward in making Mandi a hub of education and development.”

The improved roads will ease travel for IIT Mandi students and faculty. It will also open the region for better economic and social opportunities.

The projects are expected to start soon, providing much-needed relief to locals and frequent travelers.
