SHIMLA: In a bid to woo government employees ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in Himachal Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a program in Shimla, led by the BJP Pradesh Karmachari Parishad.
The event, held at Kali Badi Hall, saw the presence of Parishad's chairman, Ghanshyam Sharma, Leader of the Opposition, Jai Ram Thakur, and State President, Dr. Rajiv Bindal.
Addressing the gathering, Jai Ram Thakur criticized the Congress government, accusing it of being anti-employee. He pointed out the recent reimplementation of the old pension scheme, which has left many employees discontented.
Thakur highlighted instances where promises made by the current government remained unfulfilled, alleging a lack of sincerity in their intentions.
He stressed the BJP's commitment to serving all sections of society, contrasting it with what he described as the Congress's deceptive tactics.
Dr. Rajiv Bindal echoed Thakur's sentiments, expressing confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies, integrity, and leadership.
Bindal cited the creation of over 51.40 crore jobs during Modi's previous ten-year tenure as evidence of his government's dedication to employment generation.
He attributed this success to various government schemes and initiatives, particularly emphasizing the impact of the Mudra Yojana in facilitating job creation.
Bindal concluded by asserting that under Modi's leadership, the nation is progressing towards prosperity, a sentiment he believed was evident to the world.
