HPCMSukhu in Dodra-Kuar

SHIMLA: Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu kicked off his election campaign for the Shimla parliamentary seat from the remote area of Dodra-Kwar.

CM chose Dodra-Kuar one of remotest region located across Snowbound Chanshal Pass in Rohru Subdivision.here locals still practice traditional agriculture culvating amaranth and Kathu and Millets.

They also tend sheep and goat and leaf a migratratory life  but they are still not considered tribals. 

 He took a swipe at the BJP, accusing them of trying to seize power through money, but failing.

Sukhu promised that the people of Himachal Pradesh would punish the BJP at the polls, ensuring all four Lok Sabha seats for the Congress.

He highlighted the state government's initiatives, such as increasing MNREGA wages and offering a minimum support price for milk, while criticizing the BJP for attempting to thwart welfare schemes.

The CM also mentioned the launch of the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Samman Nidhi scheme and slammed the BJP for opposing it.

He talked about measures taken to curb corruption and boost public welfare.

Other party members, including Education Minister Rohit Thakur and Lok Sabha candidate Vinod Sultanpuri, echoed similar sentiments, condemning the BJP's actions and expressing confidence in Congress's victory.

Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mohan Lal Brakta emphasized the Congress's role in the development of Dodra-Kwar and Rohru, dismissing any BJP contribution and predicting a defeat for the BJP in the upcoming elections.
