SHIMLA: Relishing a big win of Congress in Karnataka today, Senior Indian National Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu along with Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and MP and State Congress President Pratibha Singh took stroll at The Mall, Shimla today.
Priyanka Gandhi interacted with the local people there and also took selfies with them. She also had coffee in the Indian coffee house, where once Prime Minister Narender Modi had stopped to have coffee in 2018.
Priyanka Gandhi also performed pujan at the Hanuman temple at Jhakhoo, as the results from Karnataka started pouring in favour of Congress.
Congress leaders said the South Indian have become "BJPMukt", taking a dig at BJP defeat in the south.
The newly elected councillors also met Priyanka Gandhi demanding that both Mayor and deputy mayor posts should go to Congress women candidates as out of 34, as many as 20 are women.
Cabinet Ministers, MLAs and office bearers and workers of Congress accompanied them on this occasion.
