Hamirpur: Anurag Singh Thakur, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Youth Affairs and Sports, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts in advancing road connectivity in Himachal Pradesh over the past decade.

Thakur highlighted the unprecedented development in road infrastructure, stating that the construction of two-lane and four-lane highways has significantly reduced travel time in the state.

He emphasized that this not only saves time and money for the people but also marks the beginning of a new era of development in Himachal Pradesh.

Furthermore, Thakur emphasized Modi's personal commitment to the state's development, noting that Himachal Pradesh has always been a top priority for the Prime Minister.

He lauded Modi's contributions, which he deemed unimaginable a decade ago, across various sectors including railways, roads, and air connectivity.

Thakur outlined several ongoing and upcoming projects, highlighting the substantial investment in road infrastructure, including approvals for road construction projects exceeding ₹50,000 crore.

He also mentioned specific projects in his parliamentary constituency, Hamirpur, which are expected to significantly improve connectivity and spur economic growth.
