Shimla: In a scathing critique, Dr. Rajiv Bindal, BJP State President, slammed the present Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, labeling it as a "confused government" that is deceiving the state's unemployed youth.
Bindal accused Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu of shutting down employment-providing institutes, failing to establish new ones in 13 months, and withholding results, leaving thousands jobless.
Bindal alleged a game of passing the buck between the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, creating a state of confusion.
He highlighted the government's controversial decision to recruit guest teachers/guest lecturers, which faced widespread protests, forcing the Chief Minister to put it on hold.
Bindal questioned the government's competence, suggesting either a lack of confidence in authority, internal disputes, or a deliberate attempt to divert attention from the unemployment crisis.
Criticizing the Congress government's broken promises, Bindal pointed out the dismissal of 10 thousand employees despite the commitment to provide one lakh jobs.
He accused the government of hypocrisy, taking a loan of Rs 14 thousand crore in 12 months while claiming financial hardship.
Bindal emphasized the lack of transparency in loan utilization and criticized the government's focus on portraying itself as cash-strapped while indulging in luxuries.
In a statement, Bindal urged Chief Minister Sukhu to cease complaining about funds and prioritize public welfare, asserting that serving the people should be the government's foremost duty.
The BJP leader underscored that the mounting debt burden was solely attributable to the Congress government's actions.
