Army Chief Releases Book on India’s Secret Strikes Inside Pakistan

New Delhi: Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi on Friday released the book “Operation SINDOOR: The Untold Story of India's Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan” authored by Lieutenant General KJS “Tiny” Dhillon (Retd).

The book recounts the so-called “Four-Day War,” offering a rare inside view of India’s covert military operations, cutting-edge intelligence inputs and deft diplomacy that not only neutralised terror hubs across the border but also sent out a strong message to Pakistan.

Gen Dhillon highlights how media and social media became critical weapons in shaping global perceptions, and explains how India’s armed forces adapted to the ‘new normal’ of hybrid warfare.

The book also explores the road ahead for India’s security establishment in dealing with future threats.

Army officials present at the launch described the work as a significant addition to contemporary military literature, providing both operational details and strategic insights.
