NAGGAR(KULLU-MANALI): Kullu-Manali has lost one of its most distinguished entrepreneurs and orchardists.
Anil Khullar, owner of the renowned The Taj Baragarh Resort and Spa at Naggar, passed away at the age of 78.
He breathed his last at Max Hospital, New Delhi. His blood pressure dropped suddenly, leading to a cardiac arrest. His son, Nakul Khullar, confirmed the news.
Anil Khullar was a respected name in Himachal’s hospitality and horticulture industry.
He played a key role in shaping tourism in Kullu-Manali.
His leadership and vision earned his family multiple accolades. His son, Nakul, received the Award of Excellence for his contributions to the horticulture and hospitality sector.
He is survived by his wife, son Nakul Khullar, and daughter and his daughter-in-law and two grandchildren, Gunaal and Shania.
His last rites will be performed on Sunday at 11 AM at Baragarh and Rasam Pagri will be held on Monday.
The hospitality fraternity of Kullu-Manali has expressed deep sorrow. Friends and well-wishers stand in solidarity with the Khullar family.
His legacy in the tourism and agriculture sectors will always be remembered.
