Pekhuwela, Una – In a boost for renewable energy in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the state's largest solar power project today in Pekhuwela, Una.
The 32 MW solar plant, set to produce 66.10 million units of electricity annually, marks a milestone in the state's journey towards sustainable energy.
"With the launch of the Pekhuwela solar energy project, we are not just producing clean power but also strengthening our state's economy," CM Sukhu said at the event.
"This ambitious initiative will play a crucial role in meeting our energy needs and driving economic growth in the region."
The plant is expected to contribute significantly to Himachal Pradesh's power grid, aligning with the state's goal of enhancing its renewable energy capacity.
