CMD SJVN Reviews Arun-3 project in Nepal

The top officials inspected the dam site at Phaksinda and the powerhouse at Pukhuwa, assessing work in difficult Himalayan terrain. Gupta urged teams to maintain strict safety and quality standards and push for timely completion. He praised the workforce for delivering steady progress despite harsh weather and logistical challenges.

 

Sharma also lauded the project staff and emphasised discipline, teamwork, and adherence to timelines.

 

Being developed by SJVN’s subsidiary SAPDC in Sankhuwasabha district, the Arun-3 project will supply 900 MW of clean power, bolstering energy security and economic growth in both countries.
