The message of “Give To Gain” echoed strongly as SJVN Limited celebrated International Women’s Day with enthusiasm at its headquarters in Shimla on Saturday, bringing together around 200 women employees from various projects and units of the company.

The event highlighted the idea that empowering others and contributing to society ultimately leads to collective growth and success. Women employees from across SJVN’s offices and projects, along with members of the Satluj Shree Ladies Club, participated in the celebrations.

Addressing the gathering, Bhupender Gupta underlined the organisation’s commitment to women’s empowerment and equal opportunities at the workplace.

 He said women employees are playing a vital role in the company’s progress and are strengthening the organisational culture through their dedication, innovation and teamwork.

Ajay Kumar Sharma said that women employees of SJVN have consistently demonstrated professionalism, competence and commitment across different functional areas, contributing significantly to the organisation’s achievements and growth.

The highlight of the programme was a motivational talk by Yashika Hatwal Tyagi, who shared her inspiring journey and encouraged participants to adopt resilience, determination and leadership in their personal and professional lives.

The celebration also featured an outbound experiential learning session aimed at strengthening leadership qualities, resilience, collaboration and team spirit among the participants.

The event concluded with a renewed pledge to carry forward the spirit of “Give To Gain” and work collectively towards building a more inclusive and equitable society.
