Have Your Say in SAMRIDH Himachal–2045: Govt Launches Citizen Questionnaire to Shape Future Roadmap
Shimla, July 29:
The Himachal government has launched a fresh citizen connect initiative under its long-term vision plan—SAMRIDH Himachal–2045—by inviting people from across the state and the global Himachali community to fill out an Online Citizen Engagement Questionnaire (CEQ).
The 17-question survey is open till August 26, 2025, and aims to crowdsource ideas, innovations, and aspirations from the grassroots.

What’s the goal?
Dr Manmohan Singh Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) is leading this visioning exercise with full public participation at its core.
This isn’t just a form. It’s a bridge between the government and the people.
Every suggestion counts—be it from a student, farmer, homemaker, or entrepreneur. The SAMRIDH vision belongs to the people of Himachal, and they must shape it.
Why now?
Prashant Sirkek, Member Secretary of the Umbrella Committee for SAMRIDH HIMACHAL -2045 Vision Document, which is headed by the Chief Secretary, said:
"We are trying to design a roadmap relevant for many fourth coming election cycles, through the eyes of Himachalis”
That’s why it’s vital to listen to people’s lived realities and local wisdom—especially from those working at the grassroots or settled abroad with a vision for their home state.”
