New Delhi, November 14: The Digital India Pavilion, a star attraction at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2024, has opened its doors at Bharat Mandapam Complex, here today.

Hosted by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), the pavilion showcases how Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) is reshaping India—driving Ease of Living, Ease of Doing Business, and Ease of Governance.

With the theme Viksit Bharat @2047, the 43rd IITF highlights the strides India is making toward a developed future.

Visitors at Hall No. 3 can dive into a hands-on experience of Digital India’s game-changing platforms like UPI, DigiLocker, UMANG, and ONDC.

UPI: Cashless, Seamless Transactions

The UPI exhibit offers a live demo of the BHIM app's new “UPI Circle” feature, allowing primary users to authorize secondary users for transactions.

It's a unique way to give families and businesses flexible, secure access to funds, showing how UPI is leading India toward a cashless society.

DigiLocker: Say Goodbye to Paper

DigiLocker is here to show just how easy it is to manage official documents without physical copies.

From education and finance to real estate, DigiLocker’s secure, digital platform makes document handling simple, safe, and sustainable.

Entity Locker: Business Storage Revolutionized

Entity Locker is DigiLocker’s partner for organizations, providing secure document management for institutions like schools and companies.

Through the exhibit, visitors see how businesses can streamline compliance and manage paperwork seamlessly online.

UMANG: Services at Your Fingertips

UMANG—launched to connect citizens with a wide range of government services—shows how digital can meet daily needs. Visitors get hands-on with services like e-RaktKosh, affordable medicines through Jan Aushadhi Sugam, and more, showing how UMANG is making government access simpler for millions.

BHASHINI: Breaking Language Barriers

BHASHINI, India’s language translation app, tackles India’s language diversity. With features covering 22 Indian languages, it offers TEXT, VOICE, CONVERSE, SCENE, and BROWSE functions, making services accessible in local dialects.

Visitors can see it in action, getting a taste of how it’s bridging language divides.

ONDC: Redefining E-Commerce

The ONDC display gives visitors insight into the open e-commerce network, showcasing live transaction data and the Buyer App, DigiHaat.

By bringing together sellers and buyers on an open, interoperable network, ONDC is giving a huge boost to retail e-commerce across India.

Each exhibit uses interactive screens, games, and age-appropriate content to engage visitors and offer a real feel of Digital India’s transformative power.

For its first week, IITF 2024 will host trade and business delegates, with public access following in the second week.
