DHARAMSHALA: During his visit to Kangra district, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 33 development projects valued at Rs. 784 crore in Dehra and Nagrota Bagwan assembly constituencies.
In Dehra, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for projects totaling Rs. 356.02 crore, including the Zoological Park at Bankhandi, costing Rs. 350 crore, and two roads valued at Rs. 6.02 crore.
In Nagrota Bagwan and Palampur constituencies, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 30 projects worth Rs. 427 crore.
This included the inauguration of various educational and healthcare facilities, as well as infrastructure projects such as a sub-station, bridges, water schemes, and road upgrades.
Additionally, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for beautification projects in Nagrota Bagwan and Palampur towns, a bee-keeping center, irrigation schemes, and road upgrades, among others.
Overall, the projects aim to enhance the infrastructure and development of the region, benefiting the local communities.
