Hamirpur: During a one-day visit to Bhoranj Assembly constituency in Hamirpur district today Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 12 projects worth Rs. 150 crore.
The projects include the Lagwalti Bamsan drinking water project (Rs. 45.51 crore), Sameerpur-Matlana Bhuana road (Rs. 8.34 crore), Bhoranj Hospital's new building (Rs. 11.49 crore), and the PWD Executive Engineer's new office building (Rs. 2.06 crore).
Foundation stones were also laid for the Maliyan Sadharyan Lift Drinking Water Scheme (Rs. 45 crore), Rajiv Gandhi Green Industry Area in Jahu (Rs. 16.58 crore), repair works of various drinking water projects in Bhoranj (Rs. 6.09 crore), Sammu Tal bus stand (Rs. 3.34 crore), inspection cottage of Jal Shakti Department in Bhoranj (Rs. 2.58 crore), building and residence of Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti Department, Bhoranj (Rs. 2.11 crore), beautification project of natural pond in Sammu Tal (Rs. 1.98 crore), and Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School at Karah in Bhoranj.
Chief Minister Sukhu expressed confidence that these projects would greatly benefit the people of the area, marking significant milestones in Bhoranj's development.
