Passengers Endure Pathetic Conditions as HRTC Buses Crumble on Chopal Routes
CHOPAL: The public transport services in Chopal subdivision is in disarray.
As many as five buses are out of order and stranded at Nerwa, Chopal, Deha for that last month. Two buses didn't come from Shimla today.
There are 18 bus routes opoerating from Shimla, the two routes are not running. These are left passengers stranded and without services in Chopal subdivision.
Some buses being operated have run their life. The drivers say they have drive buses which have crossed 8 lakh km and run the risk for the passengers.
There is bus service to Pulbahal from Chopal. Local routes are being operated in more than four roads as there are no buses.
