"Say Goodbye to Ironing and Hello to Carbon-Friendly Wrinkles: CSIR's New Campaign Hits Home!
NEW DELHI/SHIMLA; Remember the good ol' days when coolers were the go-to in Metros in the plains including Delhi?
Well, times have changed, and so have our habits.
But here's the kicker: those changes ain't always for the better. CSIR says ironing clothets you leave behind Carbon footprints.
CSIR, an apex body on industrial research in the country has asked its staff wear unpressed clothes on Monday at least to spread awareness to tackle climate change by adopting eco-friendly lifestyle.
Back in the late nineties, officers were livin' the dream with AC in their cars, while the rest of us were just tryin' to survive with wet towels in the scorching heat.
Fast forward to today, and we're all about reducing our carbon footprint! CSIR's got a new game plan, and it's all about rockin' those wrinkles.
It has launched a campaign till May 15 to wear undressed Wrinkled clothets atheist once in a week to reduce carbon footprints.
Instead of slavin' over a hot iron, they're sayin' let those clothes get cozy with some wrinkles for a week. Why? 'Cause ironing? It's a carbon emission nightmare!
So, next time you're reachin' for that iron, think twice. Embrace the wrinkle, save the planet.
CSIR's on a mission, and they're bringin' the heat – but in a good way this time!"
