SHIMLA: Continuing its commitment to public service, Lions Club Shimla organized a food distribution drive under its Hunger Project at IGMC Hospital here today.
More than 1500 people, including patients and their attendants, were served nutritious meals from 11 am onwards.
Lion Man Mohan Verma, President of the Club, shared that the initiative aims to address food insecurity while offering hope and support to those in need.
The event saw active participation from all members, including Project Chairperson Lion P.S. Panwar, Secretary Lion M.K. Sharma, Treasurer Lion C.L. Sankhayan, and other Lions.
This project is part of the club’s larger effort to combat hunger through compassion and community engagement.
