Dharamshala: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu led the 'Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' program in Nakki village, Pragpur, addressing local concerns.

 He unveiled projects worth Rs. 11.32 crore, including road improvements and inaugurated several developmental initiatives.

Key announcements included upgrading Pragpur's sub-tehsil to tehsil, elevating Dadasiba Police Post to a police station, and launching educational programs.

The CM allocated funds for health centers, colleges, and infrastructure projects, emphasizing rural economic growth.

He pledged Rs. 100 crore for tourism development around Pong Dam. Sukhu highlighted efforts to address the state's financial challenges inherited from the previous government, emphasizing job creation and self-employment initiatives.

The CM also emphasized education reforms, promising to introduce English medium classes in government schools from the next academic session.

He criticized the opposition BJP for their handling of natural disasters and touted the state government's relief efforts. Senior Congress leader Surendra Mankotia praised the government's response to disasters and highlighted the recognition received from organizations like NITI Aayog and the World Bank.
