Shimla: Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh addressed local issues during the 'Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' program in Taklech Gram Panchayat, Rampur.
He resolved 67 complaints, emphasizing timely problem-solving. Singh highlighted significant developmental projects, including a Rs 121 crore road upgrade in Rampur, Nankhadi, and ongoing works under MLA priority, totaling Rs 64 crore.
The minister pledged to prioritize area concerns for balanced development. He also mentioned the commencement of a Rs 14 crore sewerage project in Taklech.
Singh praised Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu's responsiveness to disasters and the economic relief package provided. MLA Rampur Nandlal appreciated local cooperation during disasters and thanked government officials for their support.
Public Works Minister laid the foundation stone for upgrading five roads at a cost of Rs 52.7 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Singh distributed certificates and financial aid under various schemes, inspected exhibitions, and participated in cultural programs.
The event included health check-up camps and services by different departments. Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi and other officials were also present.
