Chamba: The police today raided house of Hans Raj after the police booked him under POCSO Act.

Hans Raj was also in headlines after he faced wrath of the doctors after he reprimanded a doctor in his constituency without verifying the allegations against him.
He landed in a fresh controversy after the police registered an FIR under the POCSO Act Hans Raj following a viral video and a complaint by a young woman alleging sexual exploitation and intimidation.
Police said the woman has claimed she was abused when she was a minor and later threatened.
Her statement has been recorded before a magistrate, and she has been provided security.
A separate complaint by her father accuses two aides of the MLA of kidnapping and pressuring the family to withdraw earlier allegations.
Hans Raj has denied all charges, calling them politically motivated. He said the accusations were part of a conspiracy to malign him as both sides continue to trade claims and counter-claims.
Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur said police should have waited for a preliminary investigation before filing the FIR, adding that the case needs a fair probe without political pressure.
The police has launched a manhunt to nab him.
