The Road to Himalaya Shimla Chapter, slated for April 14, 2024, promises to be a heart-thumping qualifier for the revered MTB Himalaya Shimla event.

Organized by the Shimla Cycling Association Regd. (SCA), this qualifier aims to summon 60 intrepid riders, including national champions, to the rugged terrain around Mashobara.

Founded in 2021, the SCA has a noble mission: to champion cycling as a sport while advocating for greener transportation, improved health, and enhanced recreational opportunities.

With a resolute message of "cycling for a greener better tomorrow," the association seeks to instill a sense of purpose and adventure in its participants.

Under the watchful eye of Mr. Mohit Sood, President of SCA, the event promises to be a showcase of athleticism and the indomitable spirit of the Himalayas.

As riders navigate the challenging course from Mashobara to Daak Bangla Retreat, they'll not only vie for top honors but also savor the unparalleled beauty of the Shimla Hills in summer.

The Road to Himalaya Shimla Chapter serves as a gateway to the much-anticipated 11th MTB Himalaya Shimla Mega Event, scheduled from May 10 to May 12, 2024.

Spearheaded by the Himalayan Adventure Sports Tourism Promotion Association (HASTPA), this event epitomizes the pinnacle of mountain biking excellence.

With categories ranging from Masters to Sub Juniors, the competition promises to be fierce yet inclusive, offering free entry to the top performers.

As the cyclists prepare to conquer the rugged terrain, spectators can anticipate a spectacle of unmatched excitement and skill.

In the words of Mr. Mohit Sood, "Himachal Pradesh provides an ideal backdrop for mountain biking, and this challenge will unearth the region's top cycling talent, grooming them for future greatness."

With enthusiastic support from the community, the event aims to propel the sport to new heights, offering a beacon of hope and opportunity for the youth of Himachal Pradesh.
