Shimla: Continuing its dedication to community welfare and youth support, Lions Club Shimla gifted winter blazers to 33 students at Government High School, Sanhog Uparla, Shimla-5, on Monday, September 21, 2026.
The initiative was spearheaded by Zone Chairperson Lion Gopal Krishan Vaid.
School Headmistress Mrs. Usha Chauhan, alongside TGT Arts teacher Mr. Nand Kishore and the faculty team, warmly received the delegation and expressed gratitude for the thoughtful support.
Highlighting the organization's mission, Lions Club Shimla Secretary Lion Prof. Daleep Sharma emphasized that serving others remains the core focus of the Lions movement. He noted that handing out the blazers ahead of the winter chill helps keep the children warm while reinforcing their confidence and pride at school.
